The Fishers, Indiana Summer Concert Series is growing in popularity, just as the Indianapolis suburb is growing in population. Residents as well as visitors from other Indy satellites like Noblesville, Westfield, Carmel, McCordsville and Lawrence, flock to the center of Fishers to enjoy weekly Fishers music all summer long.
The action takes place on a bandstand set up just outside the town hall in downtown Fishers, where families bring picnics, blankets and all the kids to listen, dance and soak up the atmosphere. It’s all good, and it’s all free, a gift to the community from the town of Fishers.
Some of the past concerts include: Endless Summer (a variety and dance band), Meet the Beatles (a tribute), Living Proof (a rhythm and blues band), Big Daddy Caddy (variety and party music), Parrots of the Caribbean (a Jimmy Buffett tribute), Dave & Rae (pop and rock music) and Zanna-Doo (top 40 music). Many of these bands are popular in the Indianapolis music scene as well.
